Masters of consistent execution. Music Proteges. Versatile beings coursing through life by painting time with their music. Their unique, uncommon art has never before been seen under the sun yet history is being made and there is no debating they are leaving a dent in the world.
Harley Street Boys ( HSB ) is a collective. A Family of young men having a dream to experience their lifetime by being true to themselves. We can choose to be anything we want to be. They chose to be unparalleled artists. Honing their skills everyday as they explore the ups and downs that comes with being divine works of art.
Signed under the Hyperspace Recording Studios label which they started on their own, they have been dropping ‘bangers’ from day one. It started with four of them and number keeps increasing with time, all artists, some more in tune with their music while others seem to be discovering their sounds. After all, it is a long way ahead on this life journey and we can only wait to see what is in store. Thus, some have veered into other areas of interest hence bringing all together as the collective to work on life changing projects.
Making music takes a lot. From writing the song to making the beat to mixing to recording the vocals, mastering the song, taking a music video to performing the song on big stages. It really is not as easy as it sounds and these young able bodied men do it easily with a flair that comes from being passionate about music. Each performing a different task until the track is released.
There is so much to talk about when it comes to these Rockstars. This is only an introduction to let you know who they are by reading it here first before we go into details of each individual in HSB.
BADZILLA — DJ of BASSTRVPZ ( faceless masked Djs that are into EDM and Afrofusion. Although nameless, he is the one who actually brought everyone together in different instances that is why I write about him first. The first studio where they used to meet was on Harley street road in Accra. Probably why they chose the name Harley Street Boys. I would talk about him more when he gets paid to allow me to say because he is interesting and filled with the most outrageous ideas that would leave you shook.
VERNOMDJ aka KWABENA WONDA — A prize-winning top-of-the-line producer and Artist with a great sense of humor and extraordinary talent. I would say he is the glue that keeps everyone stick to the movement which is HSB.
BABAWVD — A wizard producer who to me is one of the best to ever grace the music scene in the world. He likes to be behind in the shadows which makes him part of BASSTRVPZ just so he could hide his face. But not for long, you’d see.
SOSWAVEGOD — He is a full stack artist considering he does everything you can think of. Name speaks for itself and it is wicked to comprehend. You just have to experience when the wave hits you. five-star, quality, top-notch.
DR. LAYLOW — An numero uno Artist who raps so much you wouldn’t expect he is a doctor too on top. A brilliant wordsmith so experienced with making good music that he got to dance next to Jack Ma on stage to a song titled Jack Ma which he did for Jack Ma.
ROMEOSWAG — He is a Superstar rapper who is witty and bluntly honest with his words, making him one of the people’s favorite. Representing Mamprobi all the way in Accra Ghana, He is one to take note of when it comes to being a GodMc in the now and future.
JACK SAIKO — by day he is doing surgery on animals, by night he is finding innovative ways creating music. He is an Artist and also a prominent BASSTRVPZ Dj. All I know about him is his insane love for orange and his enormous energy to support anyone he’s loyal to. RIP to a real one ❤
KELL — A fabulous Artist and a budding producer. His versatility makes him unpredictable and his journey as he discovers his sound is one to look out for.
VYRUZ — He is our marvelous Videographer who has a keen eye for details. His techniques can be so amazing you’d wonder how someone could make a video so professionally. That’s his job I guess.
NATYLEE — Our very own body builder Videographer who does magic with a camera and video editing tools. He is terrific and is always so serious about completing his job before fun. A trait that is Admirable.
SLIM — A groovy Artist with unmatched energy. His passion for music makes me believe in the possibilities of life. A ladies man, who never seems to miss when it comes to doing sweet tunes.
BXLLY — He is an all round artist, unsurpassed too especially when it involves making his own music. He likes to hoard his music according to word on the street. I am hopeful that when he feels the production is perfect enough, he would share. I am excited for his growth.
OVMAR — A incomparable artist with an elegant melody during delivery. His harmonization with words is one to write about.
MAWULIMAWULI — A hard rapper/Artist bringing his own exclusive sound. He is all about learning what you’re interested in when you want to know more about.
MELVINCEO — His ingenuity with a camera is unequaled. He captures the moments when everyone is together making for sweet memories being documented for when the story is being told to generations after we are all gone.
DRE — The one behind the wheels beating red lights along the way. He is mysterious and always full of surprises. TheBoysATtheBack brand Ambassador and a hot plug for HSB. We will find time for Dre when he is done managing and wants to rest.
MAESTROFLY — And there is me, the one and only. staying fly till I die. Rolling with these greats in my lifetime. Enjoying this show while I smile and hoping to make the best things mine on this legendary journey meeting stars.
